Our President, Ruth Young, joined colleagues from other Chambers of Commerce, BIDs, and Trade Associations from across Northern Ireland for a crucial roundtable with Secretary of State Hilary Benn at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
Thank you to co-hosts Glyn Roberts (@Retail NI ) and Colin Neill (Hospitality Ulster) who organised and facilitated this honest and respectful discussion about the growing pressures on the NI business community, including the recent National Insurance increases, rates increases and their impacts locally.
It was a great opportunity to directly communicate the challenges all our members face and feedback on actions that need to be taken for positive change. Let’s hope it has been taken on board and some change can happen soon.
