Lisburn Chamber is delighted to host its first focus on sustainability lunchtime seminar – The Sustainability Revolution at Lisburn’s Linen Centre Museum.

Our lunchtime presentation will explain what Sustainability is, why it’s an essential movement that cannot be ignored, what it practically means for your sector and business and how this is a huge opportunity for businesses to improve efficiencies, increase profitability and do their part in reaching Net Zero.
Nichola Hughes from Sustainable NI will outline drivers for sustainable business reform and discuss best practice examples. Practical support and guidance will be given to help business on the sustainability journey. Dr Gerard Collins from sustainability consultancy, Aethergy, will advise on how to understand your carbon footprint, develop a sustainability plan and how to deliver it with innovative ideas and solutions to the problems that reaching net zero may bring. Joe Heron from Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland will present a case study on the business’s local commitment to achieving NetZeroby40. Outlining the progress they have alread made on carbon reduction and presenting their future plans which will help achieve this Net Zero ambition, including changes to packaging, electricity, cooling and transport.
Plus, Julie Hoey will give an overview of Lisburn Chamber’s circular cup project – a first in Northern Ireland, offering an alternative to single-use coffee cups, reducing waste.
