Lisburn Chamber boost for Barnardos NI
Lisburn Chamber of Commerce recently held their annual Christmas lunch and Toy Appeal at Lisburn Golf Club which was sponsored this year by WPA Healthcare. Around 100 members and guests attended and were entertained by Valerie Kirkpatrick, the choir from Rowandale Integrated Primary school from Moira and also by The Leading ladies.
A substantial collection of toys was donated to Barnardos NI for distribution by their Lisburn based family project. Carol Devine from Barnardos thanked the Chamber and the Lisburn business community for their tremendous generosity.
Chamber President, Garry MacDonald commented, “our Christmas lunch is one of the highlights in our calendar of events and this year was bigger than ever before. The Chamber members and their guests really enjoyed the event and the number of toys donated, grows from year to year.
A big thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and to those that support it so well”.
