Lisburn Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the 2021 Christmas Appeal such a success. This year we had a twin focus, our toy appeal for Barnardos NI resulted in hundreds of toys being donated for distribution to families in the Greater Lisburn area. A big thank you to the local businesses who acted as drop off points to facilitate the collection.
The second focus of our appeal was to raise £2000 for the Lisburn Food Bank through our justGiving page. We are delighted to report that £2,430 was donated online to our appeal. Lisburn Food Bank used this money to purchase vouchers for local independent butchers and these were distributed to families and individuals suffering poverty over Christmas.
