On Thursday 27th June, we held an event at High Rise, Lisburn.
We were joined by Anthony Sinclair from Sign Source Learning and we learned the basics of BSL.
This hands-on workshop taught us the basics of BSL to enable us to bridge the communication gap with the d/Deaf community. We learned common words, phrases and signs to facilitate smoother interactions and provide a more inclusive experience.
