It was with great shock that the President and committee members of Lisburn Chamber of Commerce learned of the sudden passing of their esteemed member, Mr Joe Heron.

Joe was Public & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Coca Cola HBC and joined the Chamber committee in March 2023.
Having engaged previously with the Chamber through his role at Coca Cola HBC, we were delighted to welcome Joe on to our committee where he played a very active role.
Joe sat on the Strategy Sub-group and he brought his business acumen and experience to the fore.
He was proud to work for one of Lisburn’s largest employers and was always keen to highlight the benefits of doing business in Lisburn. Joe was also a strong advocate of Chambers of Commerce, having chaired and served on a number throughout Ireland. He brought this enthusiasm for the role of chambers in supporting businesses of all sizes to his executive position within Lisburn Chamber.
His legacy lives in on projects he was part of and in the immeasurable knowledge he shared with businesses in Lisburn and beyond. He often said, “Chambers are at the heart of every business community and bring people together to be proud about their town or city and its economic footprint”.
Joe will also be remembered for his fantastic personality and sense of humour and making a truly positive contribution to the activities of Lisburn Chamber.
The Chamber sends its sincere condolences to his wife Louise, sons Danny and Josh and the wider family circle.
